SeaWorld Orlando and Discovery
Cove will be open Monday, Oct. 24 for normal operating
hours.
Disney's Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Downtown Disney are now
open.
Universal Studios Florida and Universal's Islands of
Adventure theme parks also will not open Monday, Oct. 24; however,
Universal CityWalk will open at 6 p.m.
In addition, Gatorland and
Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex will not open on today.
Activities at the Orange County Convention Center will take place as
scheduled.
This message will be regularly updated with any changes that
impact the Greater Orlando area.

2005 - Updates on Attractions
SeaWorld Orlando and
Discovery Cove will be open Monday, Oct. 24 for normal operating
hours.
All four Walt Disney World Theme Parks, Typhoon Lagoon,
Downtown Disney and Disney's Wide World of Sports will not open tomorrow
morning, Monday, Oct. 24. Weather permitting, Walt Disney World may reopen
one or more theme parks after the storm passes on Monday to entertain the
guests currently staying in its resort hotels. All resort hotels will remain
open, though guests staying at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground
have been relocated to other hotels on property.
Universal Studios
Florida and Universal's Islands of Adventure theme parks also will not
open tomorrow, Monday, Oct. 24; however, Universal CityWalk will open
at 6 p.m.
In addition, Gatorland and Kennedy Space Center Visitor
Complex will not open on Monday.

2005 - As of the Sunday 8 a.m. update by the National Hurricane Center,
Hurricane Wilma has taken a northeast turn toward south Florida. The storm is
currently moving at 8 mph and the projection by the National Hurricane Center
takes the storm on a northeasterly course crossing southern Florida early on
Monday (as a point of reference, Miami is approximately 230 miles from Orlando
and Key West is approximately 369 miles away). An inland hurricane warning has
been issued for the Central Florida area which means the area could feel the
effects of hurricane force wind gusts, 74 mph or greater, during the next 24
hours.
